Holland and Hunter’s wedding can not be described in adjectives, but if I had to choose a few- dreamy, classy, elegance.
Their Good Friday wedding was filled with love from each person in the room, and they were surrounded by a beautiful array of wedding decor that Holland had so intricately chosen and designed.
Weeks before their wedding, Patty began working with Holland to get in her head and make sure that they would be on the same page come wedding day. She also helped her to stay on track throughout the entire planning process! While Patty and Reagan typically work as a team, Reagan had other duties to fulfill in this wedding. Holland was Reagan’s Kappa Delta big, and Reagan was her matron of honor- so of course that made this wedding a little more special!
The Askew wedding took place at Dogwood Venue in Sumrall, Mississippi. She planned to have both the ceremony and reception inside with a quick cocktail hour on the patio so that the team could flip the venue from ceremony to reception. Upon arrival, pieces were already coming together beautifully. Chairs were being lined up, Grace and Gold Photography had begun taking their details shots, Jill Windham- the florist-had begun stringing together captivating. modern spreads of flowers, and Patty got to work on the details.
One small bump in the road, but no hesitation! At Dogwood Venue, champagne is purchased by the glass… but- they do not include the glasses, and champagne flutes had been forgotten! Patty got in contact immediately with Taylor Rental of Hattiesburg and quickly had 200 champagne flutes delivered, set, and filled. Problem solved quickly without any stress for the bride- that’s what we are here for!
Patty spent her time attending to details and working with the other vendors to bring all of the pieces together to create a seamless, beautiful wedding. Holland created a gorgeous entry sign that Patty got perfected and into place. Additionally, Patty decorated Hunter’s cake table (how awesome is this Rolex cake!!) She also made sure pieces were in place for communion during the ceremony. Because their wedding took place on Good Friday, and as a way to express their love and devotion to one another and Christ, Holland and Hunter took communion at their ceremony.
BRING ON THE RECEPTION!
Golden Goose Reception Shoes. Money Guns shooting $100s as they entered their own reception. This is so on brand for the new Askews!
And onto the final detail… the Fake Leave! We have seen at countless weddings that following your fake leave, many of your guests will go ahead and head out- and that’s understandable! But as a bride, you paid good money for a band to stay a long time so you and your friends could dance all night long! You don’t want them to leave!! Well- between Grace and Gold, Patty, and Holland, the perfect solution was developed. Do your fake leave- tell no one. You get all the time to get great pictures of you and your new hubby, and none of your guests actually leave!! Here’s a shot from Holland and Hunter’s fake leave. Can you say fabulous?
April 7, 2023 was nothing short of perfect, we would say! Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Askew!
